Remediation of Contamination
Innovative waste removal to keep us all safe.
Safe removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials is critical for the wellbeing of the community and environment.
AGH use state-of-the-art technology and approaches to remediate contaminated sites. Our expert team will devise an innovative strategy to remove and safely dispose of all contaminated materials so your site can be developed for its proposed use.
The dangers of asbestos
Asbestos is a natural mineral that has soft and flexible fibres which are resistant to heat, electricity and corrosion. It became a popular building material in the 1920s, most notably in insulation, but also in concrete, fireproofing and soundproofing.
If left undisturbed, building materials containing asbestos pose no threat. However, if asbestos is disturbed, dust and fibres that become airborne can pose significant health risks if inhaled.
This is why it is critical that removal is carried out by highly experienced professionals and disposed of safely and responsibly.
AGH are fully licensed Class A asbestos removalists and we operate in accordance with all relevant codes and guidelines.
Other hazardous materials
Asbestos is not the only hazardous material found in homes and other buildings. Silica, Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), synthetic mineral fibres (SMF), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), leaking underground storage tanks (USTs) and mould remediation are also potential hazardous materials which AGH can remove and dispose of safely.
AGH prides itself on delivering efficient, best-practice services for all remediation works, regardless of scale or scope of the project.
